The legacy of your empire

Legacy points are acquired when exploring a new continent and can be spent on Legacy.

• Your available Legacy points are displayed, the first time you explore a new continent.

• A second number, in parentheses, indicates how much you will get if you explore a new continent again.

Access

You get Legacy points, gained by your empire, after you explore a new continent from the Dock.

• You can explore a new continent, after you build your first Docks.

• You need Iron and Plank to build Docks.

Increase

• You receive Legacy points, when you explore a new continent, from:
  • Population;
  • Ship storage;
  • Leaders and Titles;
  • Libraries;
  • Knowledge invested in technology branches;
  • Diamonds; and
  • Books.

Bonuses to legacy

• Other factors increment Legacy provided:

  • Memory, on Legacy; and
  • each Artifact gained on expeditions, with Military.
